THE HOUSE
This house is made of schist, with oak and chestnut - tree wood framing and whitewashed wall plaster and the building fits in the typical architecture of the region of Trás-os-Montes. It has two storeys and a interior yard and a balcony in the front elevation. The family and the other farm workers lived in the upper storey whilst the lower one was occupied by cattle stables, cellar and a barn.
Nowadays the house has been restaured to rural tourism and offers 6 double bedrooms with private complete bathroom, a dining-room where breakfast is served and living room with bar and a small library dedicated mostly to books and magazines about nature and voyages, art and photography albums, cartoon and infantile and juvenile literature.
The furniture in the hall, corridor, living room, library and dining-room is antique and has been restaured. All rooms are equiped with central heating.
